Yes, you can use your own vehicle for driving lessons, this includes MANUAL and AUTOMATIC, but it’s essential to ensure that it meets safety standards and is appropriately and fully insured. Additionally, check with your driving instructor or driving school, as some may have specific requirements or preferences regarding the vehicle used for lessons. Using your own car can help you become more comfortable with its controls and features, ultimately enhancing your driving experience.

The number of driving lessons you need before taking your driving test can vary widely depending on your individual skills and comfort level. On average, most learners require between 20 to 30 lessons to feel adequately prepared. However, some may need fewer lessons if they pick up driving quickly, while others might need more practice. It's essential to focus on mastering key skills and gaining confidence before scheduling your driving test.

Cancellation, non-attendance or the rescheduling of a booking will incur the following charges: 

• More than 24 hours' notice: No cancellation fee. You can reschedule or cancel your lesson free of charge. 
• Less than 24 hours' notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson cost applies as it is difficult to fill the slot at short notice. 
• No-show or last-minute cancellations: The full lesson fee will be charged.

A cancellation does not automatically refund payment of products or services. Any amount not subject to the cancellation fee, is credited towards your account balance at Provisional Driving School. Please refer to our Terms of Service for full details.
